PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device which can substitute a part of a user authentication function of an apparatus which requires implementation of user authentication for using.

SOLUTION: A terminal device comprises: a user information acquisition means 212 which is connected to one or more apparatuses requiring the user authentication for using to acquire user information to be needed in user authentication of the apparatus; an inquiring means 250 for transmitting an inquiry signal so as to inquire items of the user information necessary for the apparatus to the apparatus implementing the user authentication; an inquiry reception means 260 for receiving a request signal requesting the information necessary for the apparatus from the apparatus to which the inquiry signal has been transmitted from the inquiring means 250; and an notification means 270 for notifying the apparatus which has transmitted the request signal of prescribed information in response to the request signal received by the reception means 260.
