摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having no light emission luminance irregularity by improving precision of threshold voltage correcting operation by suppressing a current leak in a drive transistor. <P>SOLUTION: The threshold voltage correcting operation comprises: preparation stages (1) and (2) of setting a gate/source voltage Vgs between a gate G and a source S of the drive transistor larger than a threshold voltage Vth while holding the gate G of the drive transistor at a reference potential Vofs1, and turning on the drive transistor; an electricity feeding stage (3) of feeding electricity to the drive transistor while holding the gate G at the reference potential Vofs1, and holding a voltage equivalent to the threshold voltage Vth appearing between the gate G and source S when the drive transistor is cut off in a holding capacitor Cs; and a compression stage (3a) of compressing Vgs more than the voltage equivalent to the threshold voltage by changing the reference potential Vofs1 applied to the gate G to Vofs2, and securely turning off the drive transistor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
