<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent loosening of a pump cover when a shaft rotates in a direction loosening the cover of a lubricant pump, in relation to an in-wheel motor type drive device. <P>SOLUTION: In the in-wheel motor type drive device 10 provided with an electric motor, a main shaft 34 rotated by a drive shaft 24 of the electric motor via helical gears 30, 32, a gear pump 52 for a lubricant driven by rotation of a shaft part 34a of the main shaft 34, and a pump cover 58 having a through hole passing through the shaft part 34a and sealing the gear pump 52 by a housing screwing on a screw part provided on an outer circumference, resistance friction between the shaft part 34a and the pump cover 58 is reduced as compared with resistance friction during rotation in a fastening direction when the shaft 34a rotates in a direction loosening the pump cover 58. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
