<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric brake device which can maintain braking performance, being able to secure braking force within a possible range without deteriorating its state even in case that abnormality occurs in an electric motor. <P>SOLUTION: It is equipped with abnormality judging means (steps S2 and S9) which judge whether abnormality is occurring in the motor or not, and inhibition means (steps S3 and S10) which inhibit the drive of the electric motor by rectangular wave drive, in case that it is judged that abnormality is occurring in the motor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
