<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a millimeter wave transmission/reception module capable of making the best use of a resolution of a DAC in every modulation width, in control of generating a plurality of frequency-modulated high-frequency signals different in the modulation widths in a VCO, and capable of restraining a cost increase to the minimum. <P>SOLUTION: A micro computer 15a outputs a modulation width switching signal for selecting one out of the plurality of modulation widths in an alternative way, and outputs a modulation voltage digital signal converted by the DAC 16 using a substantially full scale, to the DAC 16, irrespective of the selected modulation width. A gain conversion circuit 19a selects a conversion gain corresponding to the modulation width switching signal out of the plurality of different conversion gains, and changes an output level of the DAC 16, using the selected conversion gain, to be supplied to the VCO 10 as a modulation voltage signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
