PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle periphery monitoring device capable of more quickly and intuitively grasping the existence state of a noteworthy object around one's own vehicle while using a photographed image. SOLUTION: The vehicle periphery monitoring device displays the images of the on-vehicle camera group for photographing the periphery of one's own vehicle on a mirror integration type display unit 1M. The mirror integration type display unit 1M has an in-cabin mirror 2M; and display devices 2R, 2L integrally and non-separately bonded to the in-cabin mirror 2M at a position adjacent to the in-cabin mirror 2M and displaying one's own vehicle periphery images 30R, 30L photographed by the on-vehicle camera group 11, and is mounted to a position capable of being visually recognized from a driver's seat DS in the cabin of the one's own vehicle 12.
