PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower body structure of a vehicle capable of enhancing collision safety for a vehicle body. SOLUTION: This lower body structure comprises front wheel suspension tower sections 14, a pair of left and right front side frames 2 extended in the vehicle longitudinal direction, a pair of left and right side sills 12 connected to the rear sections of these front side frames respectively and extended in the vehicle longitudinal direction at both edges of a vehicle compartment floor, a pair of left and right rear side frames 16 connected to these side sills at their front sections and extended in the vehicle longitudinal direction in the inner sides of rear wheel wheel houses at their rear sections, a cross member 32 extended in the vehicle width direction and mutually combining the rear side frames and/or the side sills, and a pair of rear part inclined cross members 50 formed in a V-shape, that are combined to the intermediate section of the cross member in the vehicle width direction at their both one-side ends and combined to the intermediate sections of the side sills in the vehicle longitudinal direction at their other-side ends.
