PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carpet capable of diffusing aroma from an aromatic carried by the carpet according to natural air flow in the room, while absorbing and removing an offensive odor other than the aroma of the aromatic by the deodorant carried by the carpet. SOLUTION: In the carpet, while an aromatic sealing an aroma component in a micro-capsule is carried in a fixing layer of the carpet, deodorant having deodorizing performance against an odor component other than the aroma diffused by the aromatic is imparted to pile and/or the fixing layer, so that the offensive odor is removed and a healing space can be created in the room by a faint aroma from the aromatic.
