PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine capable of achieving a substantial reliability in the slot machine by allowing a player to recognize the generation of respective payouts when the payback and the payout other than the payback are simultaneously generated in a single game. SOLUTION: A slot machine includes a symbol display device, an image display device, and a controller executing the processing of: (A) executing a game in which the plurality of symbols are variably displayed and then stop-displayed, and game media are paid out; (B) shifting a mode to an insurance mode; (C) counting the number of games in the insurance mode; (D) paying out game media when the number of games reaches a specific number; (E) displaying a specific performance image at a position in front of reels in the image display device during a period when game media are being paid out in the processing (D).
