PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the accumulation of torsion on a universal cord when continuing to rotate an insertion portion and a main body operational portion in a direction. SOLUTION: A main casing 40 of the main body operational portion 2 is connected to a connector casing 41 in a manner to make relative rotations. A light guide 31 and wiring 35 are respectively divided into an insertion portion side light guide 31a, insertion portion side wiring 35a, a cord side light guide 31b, and cord side wiring 35b and are connected in a manner to make relative rotations through a rotary connector 50 assembled to coincide with the central axis line A of rotations of the main casing 40 and the connector casing 41. A light receiving side lens 56a provided on the insertion portion side light guide 31a and a light transmitting side lens 56b provided on the cord side light guide 31b are disposed in the position of the central axis line A of rotations in a manner to make relative rotations.
