PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game card system capable of stopping usage of a lost general card for preventing other persons from using it by identifying the lost general card on the basis of card balance information DB by information such as the game machine number of a game machine used by a player, the balance or the like, a management server and card units. SOLUTION: When ejection of the game card is detected (Step 1101), the card unit 300 notifies the management server 400 of a card ID of the ejected game card and the game machine number of the game machine controlled by the card unit 300 (Step 1102). The management server 400 stores, as card ejection information, the card ID received from the card unit 300, the game machine number, information about time when it receives the information, and the balance information of the game card (Step 1103). Thereafter, the management server 400 searches a card for which use is to be stopped in the DB where the card ejection information is accumulated so as to stop the use of the searched game card.
