<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an image by enlarging or reducing the display size of an image according to the characteristics of the image and voice of a moving image, and to provide a video image with feeling of presence or power. <P>SOLUTION: In the case of processing an input image signal SDin as the image and voice information of a moving image, a predetermined moving vector is extracted from the moving vector of an image, and the size of an image is decided based on the moving vector, and the display size of an image is set based on the decided display size.
