<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ring-shaped light irradiation device 1 for a product inspection, which has suitable heat radiation performance, provides a large amount of light, and is manufactured without a complicated process. <P>SOLUTION: The ring-shaped light irradiation device 1 comprises: a case 3 formed by fitting in a pair of ring-shaped case elements 31 and 32 after they are put near each other with their center axes C matched with each other; a plurality of light source bodies 2 which irradiate light going from a light-emitting port 6 arranged on one case element 31 to the center axis C, and are arranged at even intervals; a housing recessed section 5 storing each light source body 2 by fitting in the light source body 2 from a light-emitting end side in a radial direction and arranged on one case element 31 and having the light-emitting port 6 opened on a bottom surface; a through-hole 7 penetrating a rear portion of each light source body 2 in a wall section of the other case element; and a male screw member 8 having suitable thermal conductivity fixing each light source body 2 on the case 3 by pressing each light source body 2 directly or via a thermal conductive member 9 from its rear side by being screwed into a female screw part formed on an inner periphery face of the through-hole 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
