HOT WATER STORAGE TYPE WATER HEATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage type water heater high in safety while preventing a shortage of hot water in a hot water storage tank even if a situation where hot and cold water spouts out of a mist generator occurs due to a failure or the like of the mist generator.

SOLUTION: The hot water storage type water heater comprises the hot water storage tank 1 for storing hot and cold water; the mist generator 9 jetting hot and cold water in a mist state; mist piping 12 supplying high temperature water in the hot water storage tank 1 to the mist generator 9; a water supply pipe 14 for supplying water; and a hot and cold water mixing regulating means 21 connecting the mist piping 12 to the water supply pipe 14 and regulating the hot water temperature of hot and cold water supplied to the mist generator 9. The opening of the hot and cold water mixing regulating means 21 is driven to the water side during the operation stop of the mist generator 9.
