PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition excellent in a low coefficient of linear expansion, low moisture absorption, heat resistance, solvent resistance, transparency, etc., and suitable for a transparent plate, an optical lens, a plastic substrate for liquid crystal display elements, a substrate for color filters, a plastic substrate for organic EL display elements, a substrate for solar cells, a touch panel, an optical device, an optical waveguide, an LED sealing material, etc. SOLUTION: This curable resin composition comprises 20-98 wt.% solvent-soluble multi-functional vinyl aromatic copolymer (A) having structural units derived from monomers comprising a divinyl aromatic compound (a) and a monovinyl aromatic compound (b), containing≥10 mol% recurring units derived from the divinyl aromatic compound (a),≥5.0 mol% structural units containing a pendant type vinyl group, and having linear hydrocarbon groups or aromatic hydrocarbon groups via ether groups and alcoholic hydroxy groups in some of terminals thereof; and 2-80 wt.% inorganic fillers (B).
