PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patch which contains ketoprofen as an active ingredient and has an analgesic effect against the pain of rheumatoid arthritis. SOLUTION: The ketoprofen-containing external preparation has an analgesic effect against the pain of rheumatoid arthritis and yields an intramascular and/or intratendinous ketoprofen concentration of≥30 ng/g after administration. In particular, the ketoprofen-containing external preparation yields and keeps an intramascular and/or intratendinous ketoprofen concentration of≥30 ng/g for at least 14 hr after administration.
