PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a rotary tiller that a head of a bolt connecting a side cover of a rotary cover and a dust cover is exposed and the head of the bolt wears by tilled soil and become loosened. SOLUTION: The dust cover 22 and the bottom end of the side cover 1c extending from both end of the rotary cover 1 are fastened by the bolt 52; a protecting cover 23 to cover the head of the bolt 52 is formed from a sheet like material, and the protecting cover 23, the side cover 1c and the dust cover 22 are co-fastened by the bolt 52, and the protecting cover 23 is squashed to the head side 52a of the bolt 52 and used as a loosening inhibiting member inhibiting rotation of the head part 52a.
