An installed idle screen preview service method of a mobile communication terminal and a device thereof are provided to collectively preview and set a mobile widget-installed idle screen with regards to a selected mobile widget, thereby reducing inconvenience of downloading, installing, and setting individual mobile widgets. A mobile widget receiver(140) receives a mobile widget from an idle screen service supply server. A display unit(120) displays a widget preview screen of the received mobile widget in a particular area on an idle screen. A setup information receiver(150) receives setup information on arrangement of the received mobile widget by referring to the displayed widget preview screen. A mobile widget selection receiving unit(130) receives a signal which selects a mobile widget, which is to be displayed on an idle screen, from list information as to one or more than one mobile widgets provided from an idle screen service providing sever when receiving an idle screen idle selection signal. |
