APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING OF STND-BY POWER

An apparatus for controlling standby power is provided to prevent an arc and load inrush current by synchronizing a zero point of an AC power supply with an operation point of a relay. An AC current waveform analyzing unit(10) detects current by a voltage waveform, amplifies the detected current, and rectifies the amplified current into a DC signal. A power control unit(20) controls on/off of a relay in case of standby power. A zero potential detecting unit(30) detects positive, negative, and zero potential points of an AC power supply to control the relay. An EMI(Electromagnetic Interference) filter unit(40) removes EMI noise of the AC power supply. A control switch(50) stops or performs monitoring of the standby power. An operation lamp(60) indicates an operation state of the control switch. A control unit(70) controls an apparatus for controlling the standby power.
