<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device whose efficiency of assembling work can be improved to permit its productivity to be increased by impairing neither precision nor durability. <P>SOLUTION: The bearing device 10 is equipped with a rolling bearing 11 where a plurality of rolling bodies 15 is arranged between an inner ring 14 and an outer ring 13, and a fixing plate 12 having a fitting hole 12a into which a small-diameter step 18 provided in the outer circumference of an axial end of the outer ring 13 is fitted in order to fix the rolling bearing 11 to a housing. The outer circumference of the small-diameter step 18 is formed with a fitting surface 18a fitting into the fitting hole 12a of the fixing plate 12 and a mounting groove 18b of a stopping ring 19 for fixing the fixing plate 12 fitted into the fitting surface 18a to the outer ring 13. An axial end of the fitting hole 12a in the fixing plate 12 is formed with a large-diameter hole 12b larger than the fitting hole 12a in diameter. The stopping ring 19 mounted in the mounting groove 18b is allowed to be capable of axially engaging with the step 21 between the large-diameter hole 12b and the fitting hole 12a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
