<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tapered roller bearing to support planet rollers revolving while making rotation round the own axes, capable of holding the spacing of tapered rollers of the bearing with a retainer free from wear and breakage. <P>SOLUTION: The tapered roller bearing is configured so that the spacing of its tapered rollers 4 is held by independent spacers 5 with no risk of eccentricity like a single-piece retainer, not coupled with the ring part, and each having a small inertial mass, so that the spacers 5 do not strongly abut to the tapered rollers 4 even if the revolving speed rises to cause the centrifugal force to increase, and further they do not receive any large bending moment, and thereby the spacers 5 are free from wear and breakage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
