<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform synchronous continuous shooting processing among a plurality of photographing apparatuses with simple constitution and operation. <P>SOLUTION: A camera system 10 is composed of a digital camera 11 and a digital camera 12. The digital cameras 11 and 12 are set to the continuous shooting mode. After the continuous condition is set to the digital camera 11, when a shutter button 31 of the digital camera 11 is operated, the continuous shooting condition data is encoded; a synthesized sound signal superimposed on the sound signal of the shutter tone is generated, and the synthesized sound signal is output from a speaker 28 of the digital camera 11. The synthesized sound signal is acquired by a microphone 27 of the digital camera 12, and the digital camera 12 detects the continuous shooting condition data by decoding the synthesized sound signal.
