<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer device and an information processing system for shortening the stand-by time of the use right acquisition of a bus, and for shortening the transfer time of data. <P>SOLUTION: A data transfer processing part 152 performs a hit decision of a cache memory 13 in response to requests from a management table 141 and CPU boards 2-1 to 2-3, and when there exists no requested data in the cache memory 13, reads and successively transmits the data from a shared memory 12 for every packet for the optimal packet length of a time table 142 by performing reading and transmission by parallel processing for transmitting the previous read packet, and for reading the packet to be transmitted the next at the same time, and measures the transfer time of the packet, and a packet length optimization processing part 153 changes the optimal packet length so that a difference between the packet transfer time and the packet read time can be reduced based on the measured packet transfer time and the information registered in the time table 142. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
