PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetically-sealed device of a rolling bearing which exerts no harmful effect on roundness of an outer-diameter surface of an outer ring even if an elastic sealing member whose interference has been set large is fitted on the outer ring and besides can excellently ensure stability in fitting the elastic sealing member on the outer ring. SOLUTION: There is provided the hermetically-sealed device of a rolling bearing which is equipped with the elastic sealing member 40 for sealing a lubricating agent between an outer ring 10 and an inner ring 20 and keeps an outer-diameter end 42d of rubber 42 in the elastic sealing member 40 incorporated in a sealing groove 11 formed in the inner circumference of the outer ring 10, so that the inner-diameter end of the rubber 42 comes in sliding contact with the outer circumference 21 of the inner ring 20 to keep sealing performance. In the hermetically-sealed device of a rolling bearing, a ring member 51 which engages with inside and outside sidewalls 11a, 11b of sealing groove 11 at a position separate from the bottom wall 11c of the sealing groove 11 is provided between the outer-diameter end 42d of the rubber 42 and the bottom wall 11c of the sealing groove 11.
