PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier having high adhesion between a coating layer and a carrier core and high durability. SOLUTION: The magnetic material dispersed resin carrier is obtained, by forming a coating layer on a surface of a core particle containing a binder resin and a magnetic material, wherein the carrier has a 50% average particle diameter of 15-45μm and the coating layer contains a vinyl polymer, by using at least N-isopropylacrylamide and/or N-isopropylmethacrylamide as an essential component and having a peak molecular weight of 2,000-80,000.
