PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper having a mass forced to move in a desired direction. SOLUTION: Containers 12, 112 with inside surfaces and masses 10, 110 mounted for oscillation in the containers 12, 112 include a pair of bellows 150, 180 in the containers 12, 112. The respective bellows have bias springs 156, 186 therein, removable ends 146, 172 to expose interiors of the bellows 150, 180 to exchange the springs 156, 186 for easily tuning damping characteristics, and a plurality of balls 132, 134, 136, 138, which are respectively positioned in a plurality of troughs 122, 124, 126, 128 around outer peripheries of the masses 10, 110 proximate to ends to support the inside surfaces so as to provide low friction oscillation of the masses 10, 110 in the containers 12, 112.
