PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect gas leakage from a connection portion of a filling coupling. SOLUTION: A gas suction hose 120 is arranged in a gas filling nozzle 80, and a suction port 121 opening to the front end of the gas suction hose 120 is held to be located above the connection portion between the filling coupling 44 and a filling port 45. The suction port 121 arranged above the connection portion between the filling coupling 44 and the filling port 45 is located adaptable to easily suck leaking gas, and it sucks the leaking gas to be supplied to a gas sensor 110 immediately when the suction pump starting suction operation. After the filling coupling 44 is connected to the filling port 45 of a fuel tank 14, when no occurrence of gas leakage is determined in accordance with the detection result of the gas sensor 110, a control part 58 starts the filling of the fuel tank 14, and when the occurrence of gas leakage is determined in accordance with the detection result of the gas sensor 110, it prohibits the filling of the fuel tank 14.
