PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging member enabling an apparatus body to be stably placed in a saved space without decreasing the tilting angle of a tilting path or increasing the whole height of the apparatus body. SOLUTION: The packaging member 10 is used for an apparatus having a caster for movement on the bottom D1 of the main body, and comprises a pallet 17 for transporting the apparatus, a first base table 12 supporting the apparatus body, a first cushioning material 11 mounted on the first base table, removably attachably engaging with the bottom of the apparatus body and supporting the bottom so that the caster being apart from the first base table, a second cushioning material 13 mounted between the pallet and the first base table, and a support assembly 16 mounted between the pallet and the first base table, including a second base table 15 and a third cushioning material 14 and having approximately the same height as that of the second cushioning material wherein the support assembly is removable from the top of the pallet, and the removed support assembly can engage with the pallet at a tilting angle continuous to a tilting angle of the first table supported by the second cushioning material and the pallet.
