PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article holding device for a vehicle, capable of increasing storage article supporting by a support. SOLUTION: A base 30 is slidably supported in a groove 22 extending in a separating direction from a storage portion 21 and to an opening side of the storage portion 21, so that the base 30 is pushed by a storage article C through the support 40 and moved in the separating direction from the storage portion 21 and toward the opening side of the storage portion 21, as a diameter of the storage article C stored in the storage portion 21 is increased. Therefore, as the diameter of the storage article C stored in the storage portion 21 is increased, the support 40 supported by the base 30 can be moved to the opening side of the storage portion 21.
