It is intended to prevent a rising caused by the swelling of a high absorbent resin in an absorbent article. Namely, an absorbent article provided with an absorbent material comprising integrated absorbent fibers and a high absorbent resin wherein the absorbent material has scattered parts (13) scattered therein, characterized in that the density of the above-described absorbent fibers is lower in the scattered parts (13) than in the parts around the scattered parts (13) and the ratio by volume of the above-described high absorbent resin is higher in the scattered parts (13) than in the parts around the scattered parts (13).
