An optical connector has a body, a mirror provided within the body, an optical waveguide path, and a linking section. The optical waveguide path extends from a first end face exposed on a part of the surface of the body, bending via the mirror up to a second end face exposed on a part of the surface of the body not parallel to the first end face. The linking section is farmed so as to includes the first end face and has a mechanism linking the fixing member first end face to the second end face of the optical waveguide path of the fixing member.
