A system for managing a convention based on the web and an operation method thereof are provided to manage all businesses from preparation to finish of the convention by constructing one system capable of accepting various features of the convention, and enable a convention planner to register/manage member and group information by constructing a database. A host organization managing module(201) manages information of various organizations opening a convention. A member managing module collects and manages members joining in the convention. A convention progress information managing module manages progress information of the convention. A convention processing module processes business needed for progressing the convention on the web. A database(210) stores the information needed for preparing, progressing, and finishing the convention, and the information for the host organizations, and the information needed for operating a convention management system. A database handler module(209) manages the database, and the member managing module comprises a member collection managing module(202), a sponsor collection managing module(203), and a joiner collection managing module(204). |
