摘要 |
PURPOSE:To produce MnO2 having superior performance as an active positive electrode material for an alkali-manganese cell by adding Mn2O3 to an electrolytic soln. in a specified ratio when MnO2 for an alkalimanganese cell is produced by electrolysis. CONSTITUTION:When MnO2 as an active positive electrode material for an alkali-manganese cell is produced by electrolysis, Mn2O3 is added to an electrolytic soln. having 30-80g/l concn. of H2SO4 and 20-50g/l concn. of Nn by 0.1-20 g/l. This electrolytic soln. is heated to 90-1000C and electrolyzed with Ti as the anode and carbon as the cathode at 50-100A/m<2> current density and MnO2 electrodeposited on the anode is used as an active positive electrode material. An alkali-manganese cell having superior low electric discharge characteristics when used in a camera, a tape recorder, etc., can be produced. |
