PURPOSE:To improve the rim assembling work performance by constructing a base part and a peripheral groove provided at the head part of a tire in such a way as to be in contact with the bead seat and bent part of a rim, and forming the head part of outer rubber and inner rubber with a specific hardness ratio. CONSTITUTION:In a tire for heavy load, its bead part 4 is formed being provided with a base part 5, formed at a bead bottom face, inclining inward in the axial direction of the tire with the heel end face as a starting point, and a toe part 7 protruding inward in the radial direction of the tire, at the tire axial inner end of a peripheral groove 6 formed inside the base part 5. On the other hand, a rib into which this bead part 4 is built is formed being provided with a rim flange 11, a tapered head seat 12, a bent part 13 extended approximately parallel to the tire axis from the inner end of the head seat 12, and a ring groove 14 formed at the inner end of the bent part 13. In addition, the bead part 4 is formed in such a way that the ratio (HS2/HS1) of the respective rubber hardness HS1, HS2 of outer rubber 15 and inner rubber 16 is to be 0.7 or more to 0.95 or less. |
