The invention relates to a clamping device comprising a base body (2) which comprises a central receiving element (5) for a component or tool which is to be clamped. At least one groove (6) is embodied in the base body (2), which is open towards the front side of said base body (2). Said clamping device also comprises at least one clamping wedge (9b) which can be pressed in an axial manner into the groove (6) from the open front side thereof, by radial deformation of an inner wall section (7) which is arranged between the groove (6) and the receiving element. The invention is characterised in that the wall (10), which defines the groove (6) on the outside, is elastic at least over an axial partial section in such a manner that it is elastically deformed in the outward direction when the at least one clamping wedge (9b) is pressed into the groove (6). |
