The load bearing roof tile has a longitudinal ridge with a transversely convex upper surface. This ridge forms the support for a bracket (7) with a matching concave under surface. This bracket is secured to the tile by screws (41, 42) with tapped holes int heir inner ends for retaining screws (10, 11). The upper surface of the bracket receives a curved support for a plank for supporting workpeople or materials.
