The position measuring system has a pressure pipe (1) configured to receive an armature and is manufactured by deep-drawing. The pressure pipe has a pipe section (2) and a flange section (4) adjacent to the pipe section. The pipe section is conically widened along a partial section (10) leading to the flange section. A holding element, provided for holding the flange section, has a recess where the pipe section is held by a press-fit.
