摘要 <p>The invention relates to a pin with high form stability and low density, for swivel joints on crank mechanisms, embodied as a composite piece with an outer metal sleeve and a core at least partly made from metal. According to the invention, a gudgeon pin with high resistance to oval deformation and flexing with low mass and high thermal stability may be achieved, whereby the metal sleeve is made from an alloy of heavy metals and the core is at least partly made from a Matrix/Metal Composite material (MMC) with an elasticity modulus of greater than 150 kN/mm<SUP>2</SUP>, in which the metal components are a light metal or a light metal alloy and the parts have a permanent connection to each other.</p>
