<p>The tin can has an axial welded joint, a central cylindrical section (4), and a conical opening section (8) sealable by a cover, which is made of foil material. A reinforcing seam (9) reinforces the conical opening section, and is formed in a circumferential direction between the opening section and the cylindrical section. The reinforcing seam protrudes inwardly to a longitudinal axis of the tin can, and has a radius of curvature between 1 millimeter and 3 millimeters. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a tin can.</p> |
