A contents portal system and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to provide purchased contents to various computer devices after going through an authentication process. A contents portal system comprises a short range wireless device(100), a communication terminal(200), and a device portal server. The short range wireless device displays a screen corresponding to the driving screen of the communication terminal through a short range communication scheme, and requests contents through the displayed screen. If an access request command is received from the short range wireless device, the communication terminal configures a browser screen based on the screen information of the short range wireless device, transmits it to the short range wireless device, and provides the contents requested from the short range wireless device. The device portal server stores downloaded contents information for the communication terminal. If the second contents request command is received from the communication terminal, the device portal server provides associated contents. |
