A digital home appliance system using plural on/off buttons is provided to turn on so as for the digital home appliance system to set operation parameters by user and switch a use environment promptly during use of the digital home appliance system, thereby providing convenience in use to the user. A digital TV system includes a remote controller(1) and a digital TV. The digital TV includes a control unit(2), a memory unit(3) and a display unit(4). The remote controller includes user on/off buttons which correspond to plural users and have a function for outputting a signal corresponding to the power on/off of the digital TV system. The memory unit stores user watching parameters set by the remote controller in correspondence to the user on/off buttons. The control unit controls the digital TV. The control unit outputs the user watching parameter stored in the memory unit in correspondence to each of the user on/off buttons to switch the digital TV into a watching environment corresponding to the outputted user watching parameter when a remote controller output signal by the user on/off buttons of the remote controller is received to the digital TV. |
