<p>A component receiving device, and a component feeding apparatus including such a component receiving device and a connected tube, for use at a component mounting machine. The component receiving device is arranged for consecutively receiving a plurality of components from a connected component tube provided with a plurality of consecutively stored components and having a tube ridge at the bottom of the tube for supporting the components. The tube ridge has a saddle-like cross-section with an upper component-supporting surface and with an opposite lower tube ridge surface facing a downwardly open space therebelow. The device comprises positioning means for co-operation with the lower tube ridge surface for positioning a connected tube in a predetermined, operational position relative to the component receiving device.</p> |
