An apparatus for shielding an electromagnetic wave in a heating cooker is provided to cancel the electromagnetic wave emitted through a coil of a quartz heater by using a choke having a predetermined hole, so that the electromagnetic wave is prevented from leaking to a printed circuit board. An apparatus for shielding an electromagnetic wave includes a cover(50) and a choke(70). The cover is formed on one surface of a cavity(20). A heater(60) is mounted on the cover. The choke is installed at least one outer surface of the cover to prevent the electromagnetic wave from leaking through the heater. The cover is integrated with the cavity. A portion of the cavity protrudes out of the cover.
