An absorbent product comprising a cover sheet having clear patterns formed thereon and a method of forming patterns on the cover sheet are provided to give beautiful and good feelings. An absorbent product comprising a cover sheet having clear patterns formed thereon includes a cover sheet(100), a rear sheet and an absorbent pad. The cover sheet is disposed on the side of a human body. The rear sheet is disposed on the opposite side of the cover sheet. The absorbent pad is disposed between the cover sheet and the rear sheet. The cover sheet includes plural patterns(111) that are formed on the surface of the cover sheet by thermal compression. Light reflectance of the surface of the cover sheet is higher than that of the other surface of the cover sheet.
