A system and a method for inquiring a vehicle with RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) are provided to determine whether the vehicle is wanted by the police due to robbery, a hit-and-run accident, non-registration, registration cancellation, and tax delinquency by inquiring the vehicle in real-time based on an RFID tag attached to the vehicle. An RFID reader(120) recognizes unique information stored in an RFID tag(110) by reading the RFID tag attached to a vehicle(320), and a vehicle inquiry server(130) is linked with a vehicle information database(140). The vehicle inquiry server includes a vehicle searcher searching information of the vehicle from the vehicle information database by using the recognized unique information, a vehicle determiner determining whether the vehicle is wanted by the policy based on the searched vehicle information, a vehicle location obtainer obtaining location information of the vehicle from a location tracking system(150) by using the vehicle information when the vehicle is wanted by the policy, and a transmitter(160) transmitting the location information of the vehicle to the closest patrol terminal to the vehicle by using the location information of the patrol terminal. |
