A method of assembly for a swimfeeder 20 which comprises a body (22 figure 2) having a fixing pin 50 and a weight (70 figure 6) with a hole (84a, 84b and 86 figure 5) which is mounted on the fixing pin 50, and held in place by the application of energy to the distal end of the fixing pin 50. The body (22 figure 2) may have a plurality of fixing pins 50. The weight (70 figure 6) may be made of lead, and have a plurality of holes (84a, 84b and 86 figure 5). The holes may be tapered or step tapered (86 figure 9a). The energy can be applied be either heat-staking or ultrasonic welding. |
