An electric braking apparatus including a motor (1311) for pressing brake pads on disks (1231 to 1234), a metal housing (1301) for housing the motor (1311), a positive-polarity power line (1600a) for transmitting power from a battery (1261) to the electric motor (1311), a negative-polarity ground line (1600b) for connecting the electric motor (1311) to the ground (1001) of a vehicle, and a conductor (1004b) for electrically connecting the metal housing (1301) to the negative polarity of battery (1261) or the negative-polarity of an inverter (1517).
