An insulator (1) has built-on protective clips (3). An ionizing wire (2) has a clip-on weight (6). There are shock-absorbing legs (4) for automatic fixing and centering in a chimney (9). A high-voltage cable (7) links a high-voltage unit to the ionizing wire. An electrostatic fine-dust filter can be pushed into the chimney from above at the end of the chimney, or from below through a chimney-cleaning opening (10).
