The feeder (1) has an isolating and supplying sheet device including a separating unit to separate an upper sheet from a sheet stack (3). A conveying equipment transports a sheet relative to the stack. A transport equipment (7) transfers the sheet from the conveying equipment to the transport equipment. The transport equipment is superordinated to the conveying body i.e. suction roller, and collects and transports the sheet so that transport speed for conveying the sheet by the conveying body is larger than transport speed (V1) for conveying the stack by the conveying equipment.
