<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly judge that contact between wheels and road surfaces are disconnected during travelling on a wet road and that hydroplaning occurs. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A device for judging a hydroplaning condition is provided with: a transmission function of transmitting transmission waves; a reception function of receiving reflection waves of the transmission waves transmitted from the transmission function; and a function for judging the hydroplaning condition which judges occurrence of the hydroplaning condition by transmitting the transmission waves transmitted from the transmission function onto road surfaces behind the wheels to receive reflection waves of the transmission waves from the road surface.
